Margaret Flanagan began making her B.A.B.Y. dolls in 2001. They were designed by Margaret to be a souvenir doll and also for childs play.. They come in buntings made of genuine Pendleton wool from the famous Oregon mill. The hair framing the baby’s face is black fox fur.

"It's hard to find an Indian doll that does not look like an Anglo doll with brown skin. The features just don't quite get there. Also, It's either mass produced vinal or porcelain , most of the time.. My goal is to make indian babies that Indians love ", says Margaret.
Sizes will be approximately 12' long. Patterns will always be beautiful assorted Pendleton wool patterns mixed for variety. The shock of hair on the forehead is fox fur.
